Unique Safari Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda

What a weekend! Marafiki was such a beautiful place to stay, the views are truly breathtaking. Our room was absolutely lovely, really perfect for our family of 4. The pool was great, nice and clean and our 3 year old loved it! Not only that, but the staff and the manager Jonathan could not do enough to help us. They made our stay really special and just what we wanted from booking a family friendly safari guide to making our daughter a special dinner. Highly recommend Marafiki as a base for anyone visiting Queen Elizabeth National park.

I stayed for two days while doing the safari in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, the cabins are very comfortable, the ecological use of water and electricity are really remarkable. The staff was very friendly and attentive to anything I needed and Matt has been one of the best hosts I have met in my stays in Uganda. Also the food and attention to detail deserve 5 stars.

The lodge in a relaxing area with a fantastic view of Queen Elizabeth NP. A lovely pool and fire pit is on site as well. Rooms are very clean and comfortable down to the shower with a view. Shower water pressure a little low but warm water. All meals were appetizing with good portions. Staff very attentative including the general manager, Jonathan, who was always ready with a kind word and ready to help. Only thing I lacked was a hair dryer and more time there.

A couple of my friends and I visited the lodge in December and greatly enjoyed the experience. Everything went exceptionally well. The food was delicious and the rooms were very beautiful and cosy. The staff were really helpful. I would recommend this lodge to anyone planning a holiday in Uganda.
